
The inspectorate was in euphoria on this 13th September 2024 to receive the British Council Grant, which saw the training of over 100 teachers of English in the region. With the input of the Regional Delegation for Secondary Education headed by Mr. Yaya Souleymanou, and the coordination of British Council facilitators, the LAL inspectorate hall was full of teachers who answered present to the invitation.

The panel discussions took place after the welcome speech made by the Coordinating Inspector for LAL, Madam Beda Aissatou, in the presence of the Coordinating Inspector for Bilingual Letters, Mr. Soussia Pierre reiterated the Regional delegate’s wish to see the workshop move smoothly with exchanges that will enrich the attendees. She went further to acknowledge the inspectorate of Letters’ long-lasting cordial relationship with CAMELTA in its goal of promoting quality ELT nationwide.


The Far North Chapter President, Dr. Eyong-Tiku Eyong-Ewubhe, acknowledged the presence of teachers who turned out massively in a full-day workshop rich with continuous professional development content. The National President of CAMELTA, Dr. Mrs Ita Ndifon accompanied facilitators like Mr. Robert Kenfack, Mrs. Elsie Enanga, Mme. Loveline Mbu C., Mr, Baissana Talba and Mme. Nkumbe Epole Sandrine thanked the warm reception reserved for them and promised to extend the greetings and the attitude of the Far North Chapter to other regions benefitting from the British Council Grant.
